Active experiences in the snow at Plan de Corones

A picture-book winter wonderland

We leave our impressions in the snow. The snow leaves its impression on us.
Unforgettable memories become imprinted on our minds.

Winter finds its most beautiful home in the Dolomites: a wildly romantic landscape, framed by the jagged white panorama of the local Dolomite peaks, enveloped by our 5−star feel-good time and a glittering splendour of snow – an almost unreal picture book idyll.

South Tyrol’s No. 1 ski mountain
Plan de Corones

120 perfectly groomed kilometres of pistes, 32 state-of-the-art lifts, 5 black pistes (Black Five), lift and piste connection to the famous Sellaronda and much more – the Plan de Corones is not called South Tyrol’s No. 1 ski mountain for nothing.

From beginners to piste pros, everyone will find the right slope here – with unlimited skiing pleasure for every level. The ski area is also part of the Dolomiti Superski carousel, which means: thanks to the Dolomiti Superski pass, you have around 1,200 kilometres of pistes at your disposal in around 15 ski areas.

Pssst event tip! Be there live when the best female ski racers in the world compete in the giant slalom Ski World Cup on the Erta slope on Plan de Corones in January.

The Val Pusteria and the Dolomites are among the most beautiful cross-country skiing areas in South Tyrol and are popular with cross-country skiers of all styles – be it classic or skating. From simple cross-country trails around Plan de Corones and its side valleys, such as the 10 km long, double-tracked trail in Valdaora, to the snow-sure high-altitude trail on the Passo delle Erbe at 2000 m: explore the perfectly groomed trail network with numerous places to stop for refreshments right along the way.

Pssst event tip! Be there when the best biathletes compete at the IBU Biathlon World Cup in nearby Anterselva in the Südtirol Arena in January.
