Arrival and departure

On the day of arrival, the rooms and suites are available from 3 p.m.
Guaranteed early check-in requires the payment of a supplement and is subject to availability.Naturally, if a room is ready early, guests can enter early. Please hand over to reception passports or identity cards immediately after arrival or before dinner at the latest. We need your documents for registration.

On the day of departure, we ask you to leave the rooms and suites free by 11 a.m.
However, we offer you the opportunity to delay departure until the afternoon.
Delayed check-out with room: on the day of departure, check-out from the room takes place by 6 p.m. and all the services, including the daily buffet, can be used.
The supplement is 50 Euros per person and 25 Euros per child.
Delayed check-out without room: on the day of departure, the room shall be left free by 11 a.m. but it will be possible to use all the services including the daily buffet until 6 p.m. A locker and a shower will be available at the Aurora Spa.
The supplement is 25 Euros per person and 12.50 Euros per child.

Once bags are packed, please order the baggage service by contacting number 9.
Unless you have booked delayed check-out, the buffet lunch is included on the day of arrival but not on the day of departure.

Aurora Spa

The butterfly of the Aurora is gentle and silent, so this area is an area of absolute relaxation. We therefore ask you to respect that. Minors aged 14 years or less are not allowed.

Bathrobe

The hotel’s bathrobes are on the bed of your room and will be changed as required. If you require a change, please contact hotel reception. Every bathrobe has a button with the room number to avoid confusion. We ask you not to appear in a bathrobe at main meals and, from 6 p.m., no longer in bathrobes at the hotel bar.

Bicycles and bicycle helmets

The hotel’s bicycles are available at no charge (electric bicycles for a fee). The bikes are located in the ski and bike storeroom alongside the garage. Please select one of the numbered bicycles, we will give you the corresponding key at reception. All the bicycle keys must be returned immediately after use. Free use of a helmet can be arranged at reception.

Bill

The hotel bill can be paid at hotel reception after 9 p.m. on the night before departure or from 7.15 a.m. on the morning of the day of departure.If you require the bill to be issued with a specific heading, please inform reception in advance. Please be aware that payments in cash in Italy are subject to the strictest legal regulations. Detailed information in this regard can be obtained from reception.
 

Birthday

Please inform our staff at reception or in the dining hall if you are planning something special. Otherwise, we would be happy to arrange a little birthday surprise for you.
 

Booking South Tyrol

The Mirabell is partner hotel of the booking channel Booking South Tyrol.
 

Breakfast

The buffet breakfast is available 7.30 a.m. to 10 a.m. For our guests who like to sleep late, we serve breakfast from 10 a.m. in the Mirabellstube. It is possible to use the same table for dinner or choose any free table on the terrace in the Mirabell garden. If you wish to have breakfast in your room, please pick up the respective order form from reception, carefully fill it in and hand it in to reception on the previous evening. The services costs 10 Euros.
 

Cake buffet

Enjoy the afternoon between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the cake buffet next to the open kitchen with the delicacies of our pastry chef. Find a free table in the bar area or on the Mirabell terrace. The restaurant tables are not available.
 

Clothes and dress code

We would be grateful if you could dress in elegant and sober evening wear in order to maintain the house style and we ask you not to appear in your bathrobe for breakfast.

Credit card

You can settle your account with Visa, Master or debit cards.
 

Dinner

Between 7 p.m. and 8.30 p.m., it is possible to order from the à la carte menu in the restaurant. Let us reserve a table for you, which you can keep throughout your stay, both for breakfast and dinner. If you suffer from allergies or food intolerances or you have preferences, please let us know in good time. If you have a special wish for a table, we will happily take that into account but, unfortunately, we cannot confirmed fixed tables.
For invited guests, the cost of the evening menu of 60 Euros will be charged per person, excluding drinks. To preserve the charm of the restaurant, we do not serve dinner on the terrace.

Dogs and pets

We charge a fixed fee of 29 Euros a day without food for your dog. Please bring the dog’s blanket and a basket with you. For reasons of hygiene, pets are not allowed in Aurora Spa, Aurora Acqua (swimming pool), the Aurora sauna zone, the dining room or the garden.
We kindly ask you to let reception know when the maids can clean the room or simply hang the cleaning request card on the door handle of your room.

Flip-flops

You will find flip-flops in the orange sauna bag in your room. You can take them home and buy others at hotel reception.
 

Games

Table games and playing cards can be hired from hotel reception. Please give them back to reception after use.
 

Games room for children

The children’s games room is in the basement of the north wing. Children can go there at any time. A children’s playground with various equipment is located directly behind the hotel. The playground is always open for our guests.
 

Golf course

The hotel’s 3-hole golf practice area is available free of charge to all our guests. A playing licence and membership of an international golf association are required to use the golf course. The hire of golf clubs for a fee is possible at reception. If you want a practice lesson with our Pro, book it directly at hotel reception. To access the golf course, please pick up an entrance ticket at hotel reception. For this, we charge a deposit of 10 Euros. The golf course is accessible from dawn to dusk. If there is due in the morning, the golf course will open during the morning.
 

Gym (or Fitness Area)

The gym is open all day and is located next to the reception at Aurora Spa. The access to the area is allowed from 14 years of age and exclusively in sportswear (no swimwear) and sports shoes.
Training sessions with our fitness instructor are conducted in the aerobic room on the floor below the swimming pool. 
 

Hairdresser

There are 2 hairdressers in Valdaora: Salon Claudia and Salon Sarah.Unfortunately, it is not possible to book in advance. More detailed information is available at reception.
 

Heart rate monitor

Sport lovers can borrow a heart rate monitor at hotel reception.
 

Hiking information

Our guide is at your disposal for suggestions and advice. In addition, we have collected information on the most beautiful walks in a folder that can be found in the Mirabell shop. Hiking maps are also available.

Hire /bicycles, e-bikes, sledges, rucksacks and trekking sticks

We provide bicycles and sledges, rucksacks and trekking sticks at no charge (for electric bicycles, we charge a supplement). Please contact the reception staff. Hire snowshoes for a fee from our guide.
 

Horse riding

Want to go for a ride on horseback?Visit the Tharerwirt riding school in the centre of the town of Valdaora di Mezzo (behind the fire station). Bookings can be made on telephone number  0039/348/4731492 (Ms Claudia).
 

Internet

Our internet point is on the left of hotel reception, close to the lift. Use of the internet point and wireless LAN throughout the building is free.
 

Invitations

If you invite other guests for breakfast, lunch or dinner, please notify hotel reception. For breakfast and the daily buffet, we calculate 25 Euros per person, for the evening menu, we calculate 60 Euros per person. À la carte orders shall be charged on the basis of the order itself.

Laundry

We are happy to offer all guests the service of linen cleaning. Please put dirty linen in the linen bag in your room. The maid will take care of the cleaning and washing within 1 or 2 days. Please note the service required on the linen bag, The prices are indicated in your room.
 

Lunch

Serve yourselves at the buffet with salads and soups from midday to 5 p.m. The special dish of the day is prepared between 12.30 p.m. to 1.30 p.m., other drinks are obviously served at the table. You are invited to sit in the bar area, the Mirabell Stube or on the Mirabell Terrace. The buffet lunch and dish of the day are included on the day of arrival, if desired. On the day of departure, we can serve them if required for a fee. Please settle the bill directly with our service staff.
 

Magazines

Our magazines are available free of charge in the bar area, swimming pools and in Aurora Spa. Please return them to their place. On request and for a fee, we will be happy to obtain your preferred magazines.
 

Minibar

You will find free drinks in our minibar. The minibar will not be refilled during the stay. It is possible to order more drinks and snacks at the hotel bar or reception and you can have them put on your room bill or pay directly.

Mirabell Shop

Still looking for a gift for your loved ones at home? What about a souvenir from the Mirabell shop? Visit the shop near reception. You will find many local products and gift ideas.

Mobile phones

The Aurora is very gently and calm.We therefore ask our guests not to use their mobile phones during meals or in the Aurora Spa, Aurora Sauna and Aurora Acqua World.
 

Newspapers

You will find the daily newspapers in the bar area from 8.30 a.m.You can borrow the newspapers at no charge at any time. Please put them back in their place after use. On request, we would also be happy to arrange for you to have your own newspaper. You will find your newspaper every day on the breakfast table.
 

Night bell

If you come back late, you will find the night bell at the hotel entrance. You can always open the main door with the room keys.

Parking

The hotel car park is directly opposite the hotel complex. The first to book can park in the underground garage, where the parking spaces are numbered. The assigned car park space is at your disposal free of charge during your entire stay.If the vehicle is more than 1.9 metres high or if the underground car park is full, it is possible to park your car in the hotel's exterior car park.

Picnic lunch

Do you need a picnic lunch for the journey home or for an excursion? Please place your order the day before, up to 8 p.m., with the service team. Picnic lunches are free only if they are in place of dinner or breakfast.
 

Purchases & shopping

There are stores in Valdaora selling sports articles, goldsmiths, souvenir shops, wooden sculptures etc. If you are looking for a wider range of stores, we recommend you visit the nearest cities, Brunico (around 12 km), Bressanone (around 42 km) or Bolzano (around 90 km). The opening times are as follows: from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to midday then from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to midday. Every first Saturday of the month, all the stores are open, including in the afternoon from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
 

Pushchairs

All parents are requested not to take pushchairs into the spa and the hotel rooms with carpets. Reception staff will show you a suitable spot to leave pushchairs.

Unfortunately, we cannot commit to and confirm a specific category of room on the floor, a precise position and a room number.
 

Room service

Our service team will bring you food and drinks in your room (at an additional cost).
 

Room temperature

Our rooms have an average temperature of 22°C. With the thermostat in the room, the temperature can be increased or reduced by 2°C with + / -. Given we are in a very mild climatic zone, we deliberately decided against installing air-conditioning to the benefit of the environment.
 

Rucksacks

Need a rucksack for your walks or outings? We would be happy to lend you our Mirabell rucksack. Please contact reception.
 

Sales of wine

Would you like to taste our wines back home? For orders, please contact our sommelier Michael directly. We offer special discount prices for take-away wines.

Sauna for children /sauna with bathing costume

Dear children, do you want to sweat in the sauna too? Accompanied by your parents, you can visit the children’s sauna at the end of the swimming pool. Please contact reception by 1 p.m. so that the sauna can be turned on.
 

Sauna World Aurora Sauna and Aurora Acqua Aquatic World

Since this is a nudist area, use of the Aurora Sauna sauna area with hydromassage is only possible without bathing costume. Children and adolescent are not allowed in the sauna below the age of 14 years. Therefore, the Mirabell has created a dedicated non-nudist sauna. This can be used by children and adolescents and by people wearing bathing costumes. If you are interested, please contact reception.
 

Shoe cleaning

A shoe shining machine can be found in the basement of the north wing at the entrance to the garage.

Skiing school

Ski-pass

The multiple-day ski-pass for the Kronplatz ski resort or Dolomites Superski is available directly at reception. The reductions for ski-passes for the elderly and children require an identity card. Please pay for the ski-passes by credit or debit card when you pick them up at reception.

Smokers

The lover of Marlboro, Camel & Co. is a gentleman; due to the law of 01/07/2005, smoking cigarettes, cigars or pipes is prohibited throughout the hotel.

You can hire them for a fee directly from our guide.

Towels

Towels for the sauna area can be found in the orange sauna bag in your room. There are two towels per person. To ensure an adequate change of towels, please leave towels in the room after visiting Aurora Spa. In this way, all the towels in the room will be changed. In addition, wet sauna towels can be changed for dry towels at the Aurora Spa reception.

Underground parking

Our underground parking is available free of charge (subject to availability), as long as you provided the necessary information after booking the room. The underground car park is reserved for you, by means of the room and car park space numbering.
 

Ventilation in the bathroom & WC

The vacuum suction system, installed in the bathroom and toilet, silently ventilates the air. In addition, the system is set up in a way that the ventilation automatically operates 3 times a day. It is possible to turn on the ventilation manually by pressing the labelled switch.
 

Vouchers

Do you have a voucher? Please deliver it in good time to reception so that the bill can be printed correctly. Would you like to surprise your loved ones with the gift of a voucher? Reception will be happy to advise you.

Cancellations are unpleasant – both for you and us. Please inform us in good time and in writing. Please be aware that 3 daily rates will be charged for cancellations that are received between 40 and 14 days before arrival and 70% of the total rate for cancellations 14 days before arrival. In the case of delayed arrival or early departure, we charge the total for the booked stay. The cancellation conditions apply to the cancellation of more than 3 rooms.
