Messner Mountain Museum RIPA
Mountain peoples
Bruneck Castle in the Puster Valley is to house a fifth museum, which will be devoted to the subject of the mountain peoples. Reinhold Messner will be inviting visitors from other mountain regions to MMM Ripa, with its interactive design, to enter into an exchange with the local farming community. The collection will focus on the everyday culture of the people living in the mountain regions of the world like the Sherpas, Indios, Tibetans, Walser, Mongols and Hunzas.
Opening
A fifth mountain museum is due to open on 3rd of July 2011: MMM Ripa in Bruneck Castle will tell the story of the mountain peoples.
